The Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards took place on 25 January 2018 at the Rosewood Hotel in London, bringing together nearly two hundred of the world's leading wealth advisers and private client managers. To celebrate Burns Night, a kilted bagpiper led guests into the dining room, and following the old Scottish tradition, of downing whisky to ‘pay the piper’ with the tumbler held over the head, upside down, to show that every drop has been drunk. 

 

The IFC awards were established seven years ago to highlight the excellence of the advisers and managers in the private wealth sector within the major international financial centres. Winners and runners-up in twenty-four categories were announced and voted for by an international panel of highly respected practitioners from all sectors and with experience of working with advisors in all the jurisdictions covered.

 

Over £7,000 was raised through sale of raffle tickets for the charity Together for Short Lives that supports life threatening and life limiting conditions in children and also supports their families in the UK. With thanks to Cetuem for their donation of a £500 beauty products hamper to help the charity raise funds.
